Portrays itself as a Speakeasy.... It's actually an Italian restaurant.

I had gone to Pharmacy before and, although it was not outstanding, it used to be a different experience. Our last time was not. The food and service was ok but it was extremely overpriced. They also charged us a 4% upcharge for paying with a credit cart. First time in my life that I have had a charge like this and definitely the only restaurant nearby doing this. For the current menu options and the prices they are charging I would not recommend this restaurant at this moment.

Excellent as always, doing a great job of making guests feel comfortable during this time.

I made a reservation for “happy hour “ after seated was told they do not have happy hour on Fridays . I showed them how i specifically booked happy hour and had a screenshot. Showing the details of happy hour . Was told they don’t know how to remove that from open table but no happy hour on Fridays . We decided to stay the waiter was attentive did comp us 2 drinks and food was good but for sure they need to honor what is being advertised that part was very disappointing.

As for the food, we started with appetizers: the hush puppies were tasty, but the tomato soup was surprisingly bland, lacking any real tomato flavor. The bruschetta was missing a balsamic drizzle and instead came with a fried egg on top, which was not what we anticipated. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was poor. The menu featured five options, but they were out of the Wagyu burgers. The beef rigatoni unfortunately ended up being served with regular spaghetti, and the beef itself had no flavor. The macaroni and cheese was overcooked and tasted burnt, lacking any cheesy goodness, and was largely just dry pasta with some mushrooms tossed in. The half chicken looked appealing but was severely lacking in seasoning. It was accompanied by cheeses that were just average. The white fish was decent, but it was served whole, which might be off-putting for some diners—this should definitely be noted on the menu. As for the atmosphere, it was lively, but that's about the only positive I can mention. In summary, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I won’t be returning. They seem to prioritize creativity over flavor, and it's evident that they need to focus more on making food that actually tastes good. 1/15/2021
