No hot water for tea in the hot water container. Coffee also cold. They put the water in the microwave but it is still not hot. And they rushed me while ordering even though there was no line.
This restaurant is very clean! And the food tastes good! But they only take cards (no cash) which means you have to use the kiosk to order. And the kiosks are hard to use and they require you to swipe card which took me about 12 attempts on average(from 2 visits). The door that was broken last Sunday is still broken today which is a bad look. I had to wait about 10minutes on a $5 parfait that seems small for $5. It?s my first time to order this item. It tastes good. The overall experienceis below average. Update one year later 11/21. Last year they got 2 stars. A year later 1 star. Today I ordered tomato soupand tried to order a raisin cookie. They were no oatmeal raisin cookies. ?We don?t have any today.? I ordered the soup and paidfor it. When I went to the counter to get my soup they told me they didn?t have tomato soup today (wasn?t told when I orderedit). So I switched to the Thai soup. They didn?t have that either. What?s the deal?!?
The food tasted good and the guy preparing food was nice and cut up my son's apple. However, several things went wrong. 1) The woman taking our order asked my son what drink he wanted with his kids meal and she suggested lemonade. I asked whether it camewith his meal and I explained I didn't want to buy him one since he had just had a drink before he got there. She listed thethings that come with the meal and after he ordered, gave him a cup for a drink. As I had already explained I didn't wish topurchase a drink, I assumed it was included. When I later looked on my receipt, I saw she charged us $2.99 for a drink. I wish Icould say that was the full reason for the 2 star review but it goes on from there. 2) My son chose the apple slices to go withhis meal. They served him a full apple. While this may seem petty, if you tell me it comes with apple slices, they should besliced. When I indicated my surprise at there being a whole apple, the guy preparing the food was very nice and cheerfullyoffered to cut it. There was still some of the core left on it so I cut it myself using the dull butter knife. 3) My son leadme through the dingy outdated restaurant and chose a booth in the corner. It was okay at first until an ant crawled along thetop of the table while we were eating. Thankfully my son didn't see it so I quickly wiped it off. It wasn't until he turned tolook out the window that he gasped in horror at the large collection of bugs on the ledge behind him. We jumped out of our seatsand took our food so I didn't take a picture but the sight is etched in my memory. I hope the day never comes that I am hungryenough to return to this restaurant. If the seating area is this filthy, what do you suppose the cooking area looks like?
If, not a member of their club join to get free drinks till Oct31st and staff found a free pastry with the sign-up. Must be an after school hang out too. I Liked seeing young people hanging out at a safe place and maybe get a bite to eat while there.Wait! They weren?t loud and obnoxious either. Really liked the ?L? shaped layout and the employees were friendly: ranging fromage teens to 50+.
They drag their leaking trash bags out the front door then over to the dumpster. Then I have to walk through the trash juice to get into the store. Also they're frequently out of basic coffee like dark roast. Lastly, they're inconsistent with food pickup locations. Sometimes the cinnamon roll is at the regular food pickup countertop while other times the cashier serves it up. I never know where to wait to get my food. Okay lastly for real this time; I have to clean my own table before I eat because the staff can't keep up with the cleaning even when times are slow. I see them on their phones so I know they have time.
