The service was good and we liked the fun decor. The alligator chowder is a must have, the filet was top notch and the gravy had a wonderful flavor. We loved the olive tapenade, however the bread was hard. The vegetables on both meals were undercooked and some were very bitter. We asked for no bacon on the chicken meal and the waiter brought it out but said that the onions on top had been cooked with bacon (which he... View all feedback.
What Denise Wegner doesn't like about Harry’s Poolside Bar & Grill at Rosen Centre:
Great service. Food was average for the price. Red Snapper was warm around the edges and got cooler as you moved towards the middle. It was a bit mushy as well. Salmon was really good, but again, warm. We could have sent both dishes back, but they were fully cooked and didn't want to risk having them overcooked. The waitress was amazing. We're visiting from Chicago, but will not recommend this restaurant to others. View all feedback.
We stayed at the Rosen Centre for a meeting and didn't want brave I-Drive traffic and stayed there. I got the steak and it was okay. Much butter, a lot of salt and relatively thin. It was indeed Choice not Prime. Kinda like a steak you get in the grocery store (but not H-E-B [IYKYK] . The Alligator Bay Chowder was beautiful; I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as I only fried Alligator. Beautiful aroma in a tomato-chowder base. The wine card for a hotel restaurant is quite decent, although the two wines I really wanted were sold out. My dining room partner had the chicken she liked very much. I had the most important lime cake for dessert, and while the taste was great, Texturally it was more like a cheesecake and very heavy. Everglades Restaurant is good. Not great, but pretty good. It's really 3-1/2 stars, but, we'll, three is a strange number, so I rounded. If you are at the Rosen Centre Hotel, it is worth eating there. If you're not, I wouldn't leave.
The service was excellent! It was a bit pricy for the atmosphere that was quite casual, the location within the hotel 'small' like area, and lack of a toilet room in the restaurant, you need to get out and use in the hotel lobby. The waiter foods were very high, but the restaurant itself was not. Overall, although it was worth the visit!
I had the fillet, my wife Ribeye, both perfectly cooked, food was very hot. And are server winners was the best ever.
The hotel is located on the first floor of the hotel. Professional waiting staff. Invisible to necessary. Beautiful large table, plush chairs. Good experience. Free parking in the parking garage if you eat it only in the restaurant.
Food is excellent, service is outstanding. One of our favorite places for celebrations. Wish the lamb and their signature dessert would return is my only complaint.
