Cecil's Texas Style -b-q - Orlando

My spouse and I love Cecils Texas Style BBQ. I tried every meat combination on their menu with the exception of their Spicy Sausage just because I made in love with their HOT, shop BBQ sauce (which they sell from the bottle). I like spicy, but I don't want to sweat through dinner. Their fresh side dishes are also incredible; one of the only restaurants nearby that sells fried Ocra. For BBQ lovers you will love Cecils.

There are so many varieties of great bbq in Orlando. However when it comes to Texas style BBQ, there's none better than Cecil's! Their beef brisket and pulled pork are smoked to perfection! The sides are fundamentally southern with a hot Texas twist to some of them. For me, the collard greens and black eyed peas are my favs. The Texas toast is loaded with garlic flavor and just enough salt to be addicting. If you still have room at the end of your meal you can finish it off with complimentary soft-serve ice cream! Try Cecil's and you'll understand why it has been a local favorite for a very long time!

I own a full events company! This includes catering. However, I was Day if Coordinator for a wedding to which Cecils catered. They arrived timely, worked well with my staff and the venue. They set up quietly and quickly and fully serviced the line! Mrs. Cecil (without request) automatically communicated with me from across the hall with eye contact and head nods as to her readiness for the release of each table! Needed ZERO direction which equates to excellence and exudes experience! They then quietly and quickly packed up and left but not before graciously feeding us all! They are wonderful and an absolute team that as a fellow professional with high standards ...I recommend!!!

This place rocks. Nice people, friendly and attentive service in an understated restaurant. The portions are HUGE. We ordered a rack of ribs (comes with 2 sides) and Polish sausage (no sides) to share, for two people. It's literally 2 full meals! Great smokey BBQ taste. Help yourself to mild, medium or hot BBQ sauce. Highly recommended, go!

This is the second time I ordered from Cecil's (Doordash). This time I ordered the 3 Meats Dinner. For the sides I have the Jalapeno potatoes and the hot beans. Both were delicious. The 3 meats were the hot links, Brisket and Pulled Pork. Everything was good, but I noticed that the portion size was shrunk compared to my previous order. Yes, I know that the economy is bad at the moment, but I think that for the price (almost $19.00), a bit more meat can be added. Next time, I could just fall and dip in person to see if there is a difference. Give another 4 stars for taste, but I could consider other options in the future.
