For years we have gone to another location up the road and tonight we decided... read more Every Wednesday we do a family dine out and 95% of the time it's to a Captain D's. For years we have gone to another location up the road and tonight we decided to try the one on W. Colonial in Pine Hills. The women behind the counter greeted us with enthusiasm and a smile. The order came out exactly how we ordered it and was hot. The hush puppies were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was not over cooked or rubbery. Each of us tried the new spicy fish and it wasn't a disappointment. Our over all experience at this location was enough to say that we will continue to take our business there. Highly recommend this location !

They are ON TOP OF THEIR GAME... every time, waiting staff is incredibly polite and efficient... every time they ask if I want to add to shrimp, every time the Togo order is accurate and HOT... They tried to rectify the situation by taking our ticket, but they still brought the wrong food and returned the wrong ticket to us. After about 45 minutes of back and forth, I finally received my catfish, but by that time, I had lost my appetite. Adding to the frustration, one of the employees was loudly cursing while speaking with someone about being hired, which was unprofessional in front of customers. Based on this experience, I don’t think we’ll be returning. I recommend taking your money elsewhere.

My only complaint is that I wish I could order a side of the crunchy bits from the fish. They usually let me place the order, but then they often say they're out when I reach the window. Other than that, I really enjoy dining there!
