Located by the southern shore of Harray Loch, on a point of land called Antaness and about 150 meters north of the Standing Stones of Stenness, you can find the remains of an ancient Orcadian settlement. Today, it is referred to as the Barnhouse Settlement, and only the reconstructed lower sections of a small part of the village's stonework are visible.
