Was Iker Acosta at Spud Murphy's a mag?
Was watching football in Legends who were not serving bar food on a busy Saturday as chef prepare Sunday lunch. Popped to Spud Murphy's and ordered 2 cheeseburgers one chicken fillet. Large chips.Asked them to call us when ready rather than missing match and waiting. Manager offered to deliver downstairs for us. Great service. Food came, got and tasty. Cheeseburgers tasted home made. Chicken was juicy. View all feedback.

Myself and my husband were in the area and had heard good things about this café so thought we would give it a go so glad we did the fish chips I had were delicious best I've had in a long long time hubby had sausage mash and he loved it. The staff were very friendly and happy in there work we really enjoyed our visit and would return. Highly recommend.

We have been to this restaurant many times and the fish and chips is great. However............. I booked a table for two for yesterday. Last month, my husband was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and has very quickly deteriorated into needing an invalid buggy. I didn 't think it would be a problem. When we arrived, the waitress looked at us and said oh, you 've got an invalid buggy. You should have told us because we 've booked you a table up there (a few tables on a one-step-up stage). There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant. I said I 'm sorry, we 're a bit new to this disability , but she reiterated that we should have said when we booked. The couple at the other table kindly said We´ll just shift round and you 'll be able to get the buggy in , which they did. By this time I was mortified and fled to the toilets to sob. I hadn 't seen this particular waitress before but she could have handled the situation better. We felt we were a nuisance, for the first time since my husband was diagnosed. The Spanish staff at other establishments could teach her a few people skills.

The fish was cooked to perfection, as were the chips. Mushy peas were divine. Good, friendly service. Perfect if want to eat out, but nothing fancy or spicy.
