Great food, this was my first time at a Peruvian restaurant and it was really good. The owners have an amazing back story, if you get a chance make sure you talk to them. I had the stuffed potato, which was amazing. The other people I was with had the 1/4 chicken and fries, and it was more than enough for one person. Chicken looked amazing, and there were no complaints. View all feedback.
I came with my husband to eat because it was my first time at Peru 51, and the menu looked very delicious, but I don’t recommend it. The service is very bad. My husband asked for a NATURAL passion fruit juice and they brought him what seemed like water with yellow color. He tried it and did not like it. He then asks the waitress that if he could change the juice for water and she said no and still had to pay for it anyway for something he didn’t like. My husband got angry since he only served himself a little in a glass to try it, and told him that it was better to cancel the whole order, he went to pay for the Yellow water and they told him not to pay. Anyway, they didn’t let him pay for the yellow water that they charged him, and if they let us go as customers. What an ugly experience. They could have done better and I don’t recommend this place…..and before posting this I saw other reviews. ?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the valley. Having lived in Peru for a few years and gone back several times, Peruvian food has a special place in my heart. There's nowhere that does it like this place. The ceviche, the fresh fruit juice, the lomo saltado, the pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken), the passion fruit cheese cake, the chicha morada, the arroz con leche, all the dipping sauces, the rice, the fries, and every other dish I've tried here transports me back. This is truly a family owned and operated business. I was chatting with the staff and learned that three generations of the same extended family work here. The restaurant itself is a good size with a decent amount of seating. If you're going with a big party, I'd recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. The photos of Peru and the Nazca lines painted on the walls are a nice touch. They always have good specials going on and they even have nearby delivery. Run, don't walk, to this place!
I really enjoyed everything here. The Bistec a lo Pobre was delicious, one of the best flat steaks I have had. The food was also served quickly. Really awesome experience here!
Would be 5 stars, but Peruvian food isn’t my thing. But the food looked amazing, smelled amazing, and tasted amazing. Small family run business with genuine Peru food.
