Was User at Lucy's Pizzeria a mag?
As a lifelong New Yorker, I have a discerning taste when it comes to pizza, particularly when it claims to be New York style. Many places attempt to capture that essence, but Lucy's truly nails it! The dough, sauce, cheese, and generous slice sizes are all spot on for authentic New York pizza. We also love coming here for lunch. The value is excellent; the amount you pay for the portion size far exceeds what you’d ge... View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Lucy's Pizzeria:
Service was slow. You have to cut your own pizza, grab your own utensils, grab your own plate, and clean up after yourself and others. They ask for a tip to make your pizza that's it, no customer service. With four people working, not much service wasgoing on. The place was dirty, I didn't see anyone cleaning or clearing tables. Pizza was okay definitely not Real New Yorkstyle pizza, had way better. View all feedback.

They lost my business. expect them to pay $70 for a cold meal. it is a dull in, but expect to operate the whole experience. from sitting, grab her to clean herself. usually this kind of thing is not a big thing and can be done well. Lucy?s not, and I doubt they'll find out. the service here used to be good. with appetizer and a free dish olive and pickle out before the meal. Your pizza is served when it's hot and ready. you need to set up for your food, wait an hour to pick up cutlery, serviettes, teller yourself.? and when your pizza is finished, they will tell them a summer so they can pick it up on the window. it was hardly warm and through my second piece it was cold. the cheese sticks we had ordered came after we finished with the pizza, and the free olives and pickles are now 3 dollars and are not filled again. for a 70 dollar meal not worth it! so expensive for a bad experience.

Finally found a place that taste like pizza from back home (NJ). The cheese and crust are so good, I just wish the pizza was a little firmer instead of flimsy towards the front. This place is definitely ?NY Style? APPROVED. The wings were pretty good too. I?ll be back.

This pizza was delicious! Thin crust that was tasty and excellent sauce. They offer a lunch special, however ; we ordered a whole pie for leftovers. Our server suggested we try the Firesticks, those are awesome if you like a little spice in your life! They also had really good Ranch for a dipping sauce. Our server was great, the pizza was wood fired and excellent. I suggest you check it out for yourself!

Great little pizzeria. During the dinner rush, the wait to get our food was a bit longer than we would have liked. However, service was incredibly kind, pizza was classically tasty, and restaurant was clean. Great prices too, especially if you have the local starving student card coupons.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Ordered 2 slices, got a whole pie which was nice of them to do. Pizza is of true NY fashion (big, thin, cheesy, slice). As Dave Portnoy would say good undercarriage , good crisp, good flavor. I 'd give it a 7.9, which is pretty good for not being on the east coast. Overall great experience, great pizza!?

This place was amazing and authentic, for Utah, to be called NY style a year ago. It was our go to for great pizza. Now, it has become forgetable. We loved the marinated olives. Ordered some a month ago and they were not the same, nasty lackluster flavor. The pizza was also a bland miss which I assumed we just didn't order the right one and was forgiving. Ordered a margarita lastnight with cheese stick, neither impressed. Cheese stick was waxy bland cheese over flavorless bread. The pizza? An insult toItalians, New York and couldn't be called a margarita. IMO the greatness of this pizza is the simplicity but burst of flavor. This was a filled of just to fill your stomach. Too much cheap waxy cheese with no flavor. The sauce was red but that's all thatresembled sauce. The tomatoes were not ripe, and its' summer tomato season! (which there are ways to manipulate the fruit topull flavor out) They were colorless, flavorless and were hard....yes hard. Then I asked for some additional pepper, because Ineeded something with a flavor, and they charged for plastic condiment cup. I get things cost money, but really? I should havetraded the bad cheese bread in exchange for the peppers because I just wanted some flavor somewhere. I hope, I really hope thatthese guys can turn the corner and get back to what they were over a year ago when you they were worth the dive and money spent.two strikes, I don't think I can stomach a third chance. Come on guys, do be just another pizza filler, be the amazing you oncewere.

Lucy?s is delicious! I have never been disappointed when I eat here. The pizza is huge, the New York style slice size and crust width is well within New York limits. My wife loves the margarita pizza and I could go for just about anything there. I stoppedby on Wednesday for a quick bite and got a calzone. The thing was huge and only cost $7 with two types of cheese and onetopping. Of course I added more to it, but it was totally worth it. I usually stop in there between 1 and 3. It?s not too busyaround that time so you get excellent service relatively quickly. I do wish they would bring back the breakfast pizza. That wasprobably my favorite. Looking for a great place to grab a slice? This is your place!

I love Lucy(?s) my family and I have been coming here for years and it?s always been incredible! However, I haven?t been in about a year. A few things have changed?. No wait to be seated (no big deal) no olives and oil with order (kind of bummed) butno plates and silverware with the food is a little lazy. They do have a spot with paper plates and napkins. All of theaforementioned things are not a huge deal and I?m being picky, but the issue I did have is ordering a beer and it coming outhalf full of foam and after letting it settle it was a legit half beer. I understand not knowing how to pour beer let alone fromthe tap so it?s understandable. I did. Ask for the beer to be topped off and it was just replaced with a new beer that wasalmost full. So thank you for a beer and a half and for the amazing food! Maybe get a little training on pouring beer and maybego back to how you used to be ! But I will still support you and eat your pizza. 5 stars still even with my rant. Cheers
