Restaurant Forte es un homenaje a Greg Forte, exdirector culinario de Utah, quien en 1990 inició el programa de Artes Culinarias en UVU utilizando la Pioneer House, situada en el centro del campus. Chef Forte, quien también fue Director de Educación en Le Cordon Bleu, llevó el currículo culinario de UVU desde sus humildes comienzos hasta convertirlo en un programa de talla mundial que forma chefs de primer nivel, muy solicitados y reclutados por reconocidos establecimientos en todo el país. En Restaurant Forte, los estudiantes de Artes Culinarias de UVU adquieren una experiencia invaluable en todos los aspectos de la gestión de un negocio gastronómico. Los estudiantes rotan por diferentes áreas de la operación y participan en la planificación y preparación de menús centrados en la cocina internacional y en las regiones de Estados Unidos. Aquí se unen la comida deliciosa, preparada por estudiantes en crecimiento, y la buena compañía para honrar las raíces del programa culinario de UVU y brindar por su prometedor futuro. Great support for UVU culinary students! They did an incredible job! The food was fantastic, the service excellent, and the atmosphere was amazing! The quality surpasses that of many fine dining establishments off campus. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. I just wish their hours were a bit longer! View all feedback.
Amazing food! It's fun knowing that it's the culinary arts students learning and preparing the meals. The menu is always delicious!
What an amazing lunch! We were welcomed and ate like kings! The setting was comfortable and the staff was friendly! Even the chef came to our table to check on how everything tasted.The food was beyond delicious! The attention to detail was impressive and the taste reflected the work that went into every bite! My only advice is to slow down and enjoy! There was so much food and if you can't finish you can always take it home (which we did with our desserts). I am so happy we chose to eat at restaurant forte, it was the perfect place to celebrate Valentine's, a few days early, and can't wait to go back.After parking in visitor by the uccu center make your way to the lower level doors (where the ticket office is) and, once inside, head south down the hall to easily find the restaurant.
Beautiful presentation and at $17 apiece a great value.
$22 a person for everything. Make a reservation!
OMG!!!!! 5 stars does NOT give it justice.
