Hey!! Anyone coming to portland has to come here for the best sandwiches!!! The best Philly steak sandwiches here in Portland. My son convinced me years ago to come here. One of the best cheesteaks I've ever had. Spend the extra $2 and get the large. I promise you will want it later. The trash talking inside the cart is a hilarious bonus, especially if it's sports.
Best cheesesteak in town. The last bite tastes as good as the first. Portions are large. Seasoning is perfect. Bread is a great mix of soft, absorbant chewy while never coming apart. I started at Philadelphia's in westmoreland, have been to Steakadelphia on Powell, have tried cheesesteaks all over the country and this basic steak/cheese/grilled red+green pepper/grilled onion philly (i opt for no shrooms) leaves other's sandwiches seemingly lacking a certain something upon revisiting. One of the better sandwich carts I've had in Portland.
New Price is $11 for a “small, $14 for large but it’s really a doubled small. Great taste, I wish it was better cheese option like provolone or pepper jack, and there are not a lot of topping options, but they did have a variety of sauces. We ate at an event and it was satisfying! Best Philly in town is Steakadelphia so that’s where I go, but I’d eat here again too
