The staff were lovely and friendly, the w... read more I knew this hotel was ‘basic’ but it was also very dirty, very tired and as our room was next to the lift, very noisy. The staff were lovely and friendly, the wine and beer very cheap, but the food was not good at all for our evening meal. I knew it was a pilgrim meal but it was the worst food of our trip. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

I try a couple of local dishes, Galician soup, Galician salad, and Galician octopus, all was perfect. It’s not a bad choice, but you will pay a pr... read more It’s one of the few offerings on the Camino Ingles, so you are really at their mercy unless you book ahead of time. It’s not a bad choice, but you will pay a premium for what you do get. The food in the restaurant was good but again very pricey. Room was clean, bathroom recently renovated, staff at restaurant very friendly. Front desk staff well, they are going to be direct and efficient which will be off putting to some guests. Service: 3
