Reviews - Chef Ricks
Reviews summary
Chef Rick's restaurant has garnered a mix of feedback, showcasing its culinary strengths alongside a few missteps. Diners rave about the flavorful dishes, like the coconut shrimp, Jambalaya pasta, and a variety of burgers, often praising the reasonable prices and friendly service. The atmosphere is lively, perfect for families and casual outings. However, some guests have noted inconsistencies, such as miscommunication regarding dietary preferences and limited vegan options. Despite these concerns, many highlight the restaurant's dedication to quality and the chef's passion for his craft, making it a worthwhile destination for those seeking delicious Cajun-inspired cuisine.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is friendly and efficient. The dishes are full of flavor and are reasonably priced for lunch. I am looking forward to trying their dinner menu soon. View all feedback.
What TimH dislikes about Chef Ricks:
Even their bread isn 't vegan, so their menu appears to be vegan friendly, but they gave us the Po Boy in a lettuce wrap, which wasn 't a wrap, it was more of a messy salad with cold eggplant and unmelted cheese. Their french fries are fried in the same oil as the shrimp, so the only vegan side is their broccoli slaw, which is shredded broccoli stems with no flavor whatsoever. Will never go here again : View all feedback.

Asked for no tomato, onion, pickle; burger came with all three anyway. No condiments in the bag. Burger was cooked well (medium) and tasted great however, I didnt think it was worth the 24 dollar price tag. Perhaps add some thick bacon??
Chef Ricks is consistently delicious. Some of my favorites include Cathys Salad, the Salmon and Shrimp Salad, the Grilled Eggplant and Basil PoBoy, and the coconut shrimp.
Chef Ricks food is always consistently good! From his Monster Burger to his crab cakes and everything in between, you can expect it to be fabulous! Highly recommend!
This place came highly recommended from multiple sources and did not disappoint! Best cheeseburger in town!

Thought I would grab a few apps for dinner. The coconut shrimp and gumbo were incredible. The shrimp were that magic combo of sweet crunchy. And the Gumbo was incredible. A huge bowl with large shrimps, sausage, and scallops. So good. I will very back for more.
