Montana's BBQ & Bar - Orangeville

The service was subpar, as the waitress made mistakes with our simple order and carelessly threw our condiments. The food, however, was decent, particularly the wings and fish and chips.

I always anticipate the steaks and how they are prepared at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was quick. I always enjoy dining here and am grateful for everything. Thank you!

I recently visited Montana's in Orangeville, Ontario, which was my third visit to a Montana's restaurant in just 6 weeks. I had previously dined at locations in Vancouver and Newmarket. I ordered my usual meal of southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and cornbread, but was disappointed to find that the mashed potatoes were sour or bad. Despite alerting the waitress, no manager came over to address the issue or offer a discount on our meal. I was only given the option of french fries or salad as a replacement. I am concerned about the quality of food being served at this location and am unsure if I will return in the future.

I went there today for a birthday lunch and seeing as it was the first nice day we chose the patio. Having gone there in the past we all enjoyed the food on our previous visits so we figured this would be no different. Oh how wrong we were. I was going to have a Chicken Caesar Salad. My one friend was going to have steak and the birthday person was so looking forward to the ribs. The waitress came and brought utensils took a drink order and proceeded away. My utensils were missing a fork and one friend had to clean his off with vineager. We ordered 2 waters and 2 coffees. No coffee ready so they had to brew a pot. The waitress takes our order and goes. The waitress returns 5 minutes later saying they had no Romaine Lettuce! We were told they would supply an iceberg lettuce substitute. One person said yes 2 of us declined. I had to change my order to fish chips. Food comes about 30 minutes (not bad) until we start. My fish and chips (2 pieces were the equivalent of one normal fillet) They were 2 small triangles and a very dark brown...obviously way overcooked. The coleslaw was just oily and no taste. In my coleslaw there were 3 portions of the core of the cabbage and covered in brown spots (going bad) My friend with the ribs had the same quality coleslaw. We did not wat it. The lemon wedges I asked for were limp like they were old as well. There was a side order of mushrooms for the steak. Well the mushrooms were wrinkled and overcooked as well. Neither of my friends finished their baked potatoes as they were hard and dry. The ribs were dried out and the birthday person could not even eat 3 out of the 6 section ribs. The only decent items we received were the steak (7 0z sirloin) cooked perfectly and the fries that went with my fish and chips. If one meal was slightly not right I could maybe understand but to have 3 meals completely ruined because of bad old produce and poor cooking is just not right. The birthday person did not even stay for dessert. They are using old rotting food and passing it off as a true Montanas menu item. I did not pay the bill but when I inquired qhat it came to the bill was $112.00 for rotting old garbage. Well done Montanas Orangeville for ruining my friends birthday by serving us garbage and rotting waste. We will never be back and you have lost our business forever. The first I did was tell at least 8 people (locals) today so that they never visit your location as well. I will continue to tell as many people as I know not to visit your location.

Had a great dinner on Saturday at Montana's. The food was great and the service was impeccable (big word to say our waitress Denli (sorry if it is misspelled, beer will do that to names...hehehe) did a great job looking after us the whole night. The grill trio was done just perfect with be meat falling off the rib bones. And the wife's chicken burrito bowl was just the way it should be. Oh yea the beer was extra cold and great... Looking forward to another great meal there soon, and maybe this time the Jays will win
