We always love going to Mill Creek Gardens for ice cream. Everything is always "super-fantastic." The staff is very friendly and eager to help and satisfy the customers.

My family and I visit this restaurant often. However, on this particular evening, only my husband and I went. When we arrived, there was a line at what we thought was just the ice cream window, since there were only ice cream flavors displayed outside. I had planned on trying a different dessert and having a coffee, while my husband wanted ice cream and cookies. We decided to go inside to look at the menu and place our order, as we didn't want to inconvenience others by ordering at the outdoor window for something other than ice cream. However, before any employee spoke to us, one of them walked past us and told customers at the window to come inside to order. Another customer then told us we had to stand outside at the ice cream window, and an employee rudely clarified that we had to wait outside and would be called in as a group. This was a new rule for us, as we have always ordered both inside and outside depending on what we were getting. It was embarrassing to be made to feel like we cut in line for ice cream, especially since we would never do that intentionally. Next time my husband wants Kawartha Dairy ice cream, we will just buy a tub from the grocery store.

The Kawartha ice cream was great at Mill creek gardens! I got the mocha flavour and would definitely reccomend. The lady serving at front was super friendly and patient as we were indecisive with their large selection of flavors! Note the place takes cash only!
