Steak 'n Shake - Orange Park

The food was good as always and our waitress constantly checked on us to make sure the food was good and we were ok. She told us the coupon we had would work for our milkshakes. When we got to the register it took forever! There was a guy sitting at the counter and the cashier was just chatting him up and talking to him, taking her time getting his order. Then she rang up another guy and took her time taking two ladies orders before just walking anyway from the register for a bit to walk around and then coming back to finally ringing us up. She didn't even apologize for making us wait and then she gave us a hard time for the coupon. I'm not sure if we'll be back after that.

Kids eat free on the weekend. You just have to spend a minimum of $8 to get a free kids meal and I believe you have to dine in. The service was great. Our waitress was so friendly. We also had coupons which they let us use in combination with the free kids meal deal. We ended up only spending $12 and that included tip. We also found out that they have half price drinks and shakes from 2-4 am and pm!

The food is average but it's a pretty good deal. My husband and I went there for lunch today and it was less than $10! They also started letting kids eat free on the weekend so it was full of families. The service was ok, nothing special. She put my order in wrong but they corrected it pretty fast. We also had to wait a little bit to pay and then she didn't give us any $1's to leave a tip so she had to wait for her to open the register again.
