I’ve order from here before and was impressed with the red beans and rice along with the shrimps. However, I was a little disappointed in the gumbo and my fish covered with the crawfish etouffee. The roux taste burnt and the cat fish wasn’t fresh at all. I’m Creole and know what authentic creole/Cajun food supposed to taste like and that definitely was not it. I'm from New Orleans, and to be honest, this isn't it for me. However, it's a nice little spot with polite people.
The food here is fantastic, and the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. We will certainly return. The Jambalaya, Etouffee, and Bread Pudding were delicious!
What a hidden gem this place is! Situated in a cozy corner of the shopping center, it's a must-visit for Cajun food lovers. I enjoyed a crispy shrimp Po'boy along with some delicious sweet potato fries. To finish off my meal, I had some truly delightful bread pudding. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my regular date night spots!
Kid-friendliness: There’s a bookshelf where kids can pick out a book to read, creating a very family-friendly atmosphere.
Mackey and his team are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. It's the best authentic New Orleans-style cuisine I've tried in Florida. Even though I live an hour away, I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area.
