One of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever ordered from, and also one of the most convenient with delivery and online ordering. I especially love their Mongolian beef and Bourbon chicken. Very high quality food with generous portions. Can't recommend enough! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hot Wok:
They ordered several times here. You must not see any of the comments or ignore them, as I usually asked them extra spicy and there are hardly any spices for it, even with the Hunan and Szechuan dishes. As soon as I translate it into Mandarin and inserted into the comment field,...not. The recipes and what they put in the dishes are not what I expect as my 40 years of eating Chinese food. The worst. I ordered chicken and Chinese vegetables with pork fried rice combo. It was chicken with carrots bok choy and snow peas in a white sauce. The sauce was so light it tasted watered down. And the carrots were so undercooked they may as well have been raw. The pork fried rice had no pork in it or anything else. Just a brown colored rice that tasted like old stale oil. Awful. My daughters chicken cashew was equally as bad. Hardly any cashews and only carrots and celery. A LOT of celery. White rice with it was ok but nobody orders for the white rice. The egg rolls were clearly old and had been sitting out awhile. I mean seriously not any of this meal was good and I?m not picky picky it was just that bad. The only pro was it was delivered very fast. Never again and I don?t suggest you gamble on it either. Waste of money.
I ordered shrimp/beef with broccoli, steam dumplings with house fried rice. The broccoli dish was good however everything else was horrible. The house fried rice was super stale with specs of pork 2 shrimp no beef or chicken. The dumplings were dry with kikkoman soy sauce vs a quality dipping sauce with zero ginger or garlic in it. Apparently these are new owners and they are cutting corners. Its probably better to eat your ledtovers or fast as this was not worth $30 AT ALL!

For example, I just have the Kung Poa Chicken. It is Chicken, TONS from brown roasted peanuts, and uncooked Celery and carrots. Raw crispy celery and carrots, that is the chosen vegetables... no cung pao paprika, that is the whole point of KUNG PAO chicken. EDIT: Only 2 water chestnuts found. Every time I order from here, I keep trying different things and can't find any single thing I like.
I'm new in the area and very pregnant, and I believed Chinese near me, so I made an order here. I gave the lady my phone number for a pick-up job and she asked me twice if I knew where the place was and I said yes, I did it here on the map (because my phone number was from the city) she did not believe that I knew where it was, so she did not put my order in the house on purpose. I went there in 25 minutes to pick up, just for them to say that I'm sorry?t even been placed yet bc she was uncertain that I would be there to pick up. So she had to wait for her while she starved and pregnant and cursed at this point to make a whole new order for me when she first told me it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Painful!
