When we arrived, nobody greeted us, and after standing around for about five minutes, we approached the bartender to inquire about seating. He was very friendly and told us to seat ourselves, so we did. We then waited another ten minutes before the bartender came over to take our drink orders. I asked him if he was the only one working, and he confirmed that he was handling the roles of waiter, bartender, and hostess. Although he was polite, the service took far too long. We definitely won't be returning.

This restaurant offers world-class, finger-licking good BBQ in a spacious, relaxed, and stylish upstairs setting. The meats are incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection! The portion sizes are generous, accompanied by delicious and well-seasoned side dishes. I tried the ribs and chicken combo: the ribs were tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, while the chicken was undoubtedly the best BBQ chicken I’ve ever tasted! The brisket was moist and packed with flavor; I had the burnt ends, which had a fantastic crunch without being overcooked. We started with a large order of onion rings that were freshly made and expertly seasoned, and the gigantic side of fries was among the best I’ve ever had! Each BBQ entree comes with two sides, and I opted for the fries and the coleslaw, which was outstanding. In summary, Handsome Devil BBQ brings the incredible flavors of southern BBQ to the mid-Hudson Valley. Enjoy your meal!
