During my weekend at a golf tournament in Gulf Shores, I attempted to take advantage of Subway's 2 for 1 deal on their 12-inch sub sandwiches. After struggling to place an order online for 24 minutes due to internet issues, I called and was informed that I needed to visit their website for the special. I ended up driving to the restaurant and purchased both subs, only to discover that they were only open until 7 pm on Saturday night.
I decided to place a takeout order to avoid waiting in line at the restaurant. When I arrived late to pick up my order, I realized that my sandwich was not placed on the pick-up station. I assumed they were very busy as there was a long line of customers. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I did not see my sandwich being prepared. Finally, when it was my turn, I inquired about my order and was informed that it had been ready but was left behind the counter out of my reach. Unfortunately, my sandwich had been sitting there for an hour and was cold and soggy by the time I received it. I was very frustrated as there was no reason for me to wait in line other than the fact that they had forgotten to display my order on the pick-up station. This experience was a waste of my time and left me feeling annoyed. I would rate my experience a 6 out of 10.
Horrible employees not all but some. More specifically the young black girl. Lazy. On her phone. Claims sandwiches are completed and you go to pick up only to find nothing was done and she is n her car smoking on the phone. She then blesses u out. I asked for the owners phone. Nope. Just drive to jersey Mikes a little further. Better food and waaaaay better service
Good food and speedy service. Parking is plentiful. Getting out on canal street is difficult.
