New York Bagel Pizza Co - ORANGE BEACH

I love this place! It changed hands back early summer 2022, but it still keeps the local feeling on it. The bagels are fresh and the beach n breakfast sandwich was cooked to order. You can do Mega-Kette Fast Food... but why would you if you had this big little jewel so close. #supportlocal

The order was completely wrong. I didn't ask for cheese, I got cheese on my bagel. I can't eat cheese. My other bagel, I asked for white bread, they gave us wheat. My father can't eat wheat, we both have Crohns. It's not like I could get it back there so they can get it back because they were from most things. Very regrettable. Why can't you just do things like a person ordered it?

After a morning of fishing we packed some sandwiches to take and eat on the beach. Everyone in our group ordered something different and it was pretty good. It was nothing unusual, but it did the job to fill the gap between breakfast and dinner. My beef with McClure is the service. The owner ran the register and he seemed upset that we were going to the door from the moment we went. He stood with his arms crossing us while we looked at the menu in his empty shop. His tone was less than friendly, and it could even have been charming until an rude New York schtick goes, but it just didn't work. They were from bagel chips leaving potato salad or pasta salad as the only options for secondary dishes. That's not my thing. An option of Lays or something would have been nice if a sandwich shop is expected to run out of chips. Anyway, if you don't care about the level of service, maybe that's your place. We'll go next time.

We starved on the way to the beach so we had a quick stop to get a bite and went to this sandwich shop. They ran out of a simple bagel, so I got the rainbow. It was good, but needs some season I can do myself. Service was a lil slow, but they were friendly.

I really wanted to like this place, but the owners are so mean. The husband is just miserable looking and miserable acting. Don?t expect a good honest reaction or accountability if they make an error. The wife is super reactionary too. You can see their lack of accountability by their replies to their negative reviews. They just argue with the customers when they screw up. It?s evident that this older couple have had no customer service experience prior to opening a restaurant. Unfortunately for them, they will not make it in this business if they don?t improve their attitude towards the people giving them money, the customer.
