What Carl Welch doesn't like about Robert's Meat Market & Steakhouse:
The worst steak ever! It was burnt and tasted like it was cooked over a burning barrel full of cardboard. It was puny for a 12-ounce steak and was mostly fat and gristle.I sat near the front door and heard many conversations. Seems this place is just a good old boy meeting spot for law enforcement and political people who were were being sucked up to. I guess they reserved the good steaks for these guys.Not going bac... I first visited Robert's a couple years ago on my first trip to Orange I've wanted to return ever since I'm glad I did.
I always forget about this place, its very good and for the money I think its a bargain.
I just ate a ribeye @ Robert's. It was as expected, from knowing Robert since 1971. Easy parking at front door, beer & wine, relaxed no white linen,

Food and service makes you feel like home should. Atmosphere is really neat and western.
