What Al Reynolds doesn't like about Emporio Sushi And Mariscos:
It's a casual neighborhood place to enjoy with friends and family not quiet or romantic and no ambience. They have a wide variety of Mexican and seafood and sushi dishes. The Tropical with shrimp, octopus, Mango and coconut was fresh and delicious with their large tortilla rounds. Grilled tacos, empañadas and salsa were OK. They serve beer and margaritas and we enjoyed our margaritas. The waitresses were nice to us g... View all feedback.
BEST KEPT SECRET ON CHAPMAN! This isn't just another local hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. They serve incredibly delicious unique fresh dishes that they could charge four times the amount for at a bigger fancier restaurant! I have not had one dish or appetizer hear that I have not been thoroughly impressed with... the only negative I would say is that if you're not Latino, then everyone kind of stops and stares at you when you walk in and you may not feel welcome at first. But use some of your bad high school Spanish, and they warm right up. ?
Great food and sushi and really good micheladas always a place to go and enjoy good music while your enjoying a great meal
Great good, hostess was nice and attentive, will definitely be coming back. No complaints.
Instagram makes the food look amazing. If you eat with your eyes like I do, beware. The food looks the part but is disgusting. Me and my wife tried the tacos governador, mango aguachiles, the green aguachiles, and a fried roll. The mango aguachiles were so bland, and the sauce was thick and off-putting. They were so nasty that we each ate one and stopped there. We then got the green ones, which were also bland, but considering how hungry we were, we ate less than half. The governador tacos were also bland, tortilla was not even cooked in oil, and it tasted more like burnt than anything. I got beans and rice with the tacos and bland as well. Lastly, the fried roll, the texture alone made it hard for me to stomach. I literally gagged. It was oily, and the rice was like mash, and to go with the theme of the place, it had zero flavor, aka bland. I only ate one piece of it. If you go here, don't say I didn't warn you. It's suuuuper pricy for such nasty flavorless food. The only thing good here was the service of the poor young gal who served us. She was so embarrassed that we literally left just about EVERYTHING. She then made things awkward, saying that we didn't like it and that she knew we won't be coming back. Soooo weird. I couldn't wait to pay and get out of there!
