Four of us arrived for breakfast at the cafe to a very grumpy and rude greeting and made to feel most unwelcome. Such a bad start to a great day ahead so we decided to leave and go for breakfast at the Muddy Creek cafe just a few minutes away in Omakau where the service is excellent and the food is great. What a charming little café! Being from Australia, I felt so welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. The coffee is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious. Next time, I’d love to stay the night and soak in more of this cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be making it a regular stop whenever I’m in the area!
