Our circumstances were different, to put it mildly, and the staff of the Mövenpick not only rose to the occasion, but went way above and beyond the call of duty... read more Our circumstances were different, to put it mildly, and the staff of the Mövenpick not only rose to the occasion, but went way above and beyond the call of duty. We have a special needs son who needed eye surgery that he could only get in Zürich. On the recommendation of the Eye Institute, we stayed at the Mövenpick. They helped us navigate the mandatory 10-day quarantine, with a special package that included restaurant, laundry, and cleaning amenities. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and because our schedule changed so many times because of a complicated recovery, the entire staff went out of their way to be accommodating and understanding of our circumstances. Besides having a first-class restaurant, the Hotel is about a 10-minute walk from nearby tram and commuter rail stations that can get you into downtown Zürich in a very short time. Car rentals are just as convenient. Don't ask whether you should stay here. Ask how you can stay here. If we get back to Zürich, we know where we're staying. It's here.
