This was today really a good example how a restaurant, also around Zurich, still can be managed with customer centricity. We were eating outside, very nicely settled and decorated with plants. The food was perfect (Cordon Bleu, Carpaccio, Roast Beef, filet cubes, fried chicken) including desserts and fairly priced wines. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!! What Mable Medhurst doesn't like about Frohsinn:
I stayed at the attached hotel. No reception service, no air conditioning, awful. They make you leave your key at an permanently unattended reception so anyone can steal your belongings. On top of that they charged 150 CH to clean my sheets. Don't stay here, go to the restaurant and move on. View all feedback.
I was not visiting this restaurant for a while now but got invited by a friend. It was always good and now it is even better. The menu card has a lot of varieties and is not too expensive. I ordered a traditional cordon bleu (veal with cheese and ham). It was amazing. The quality of the meat was excellent. They served it with fries (alternatives available) and a lot of vegetables. Very tasty, hot and delicious. And the service was also good and efficient. The waiter was already there years ago. I would keep him as well.
Fabulous food with excellent choice from the menu. Friendly staff. Recommended for any occasion. Private rooms available for hire. Garden seating area in the summer.
Wir waren scho öfters im Restaurant Frohsinn und waren jedesmal zufrieden.Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig und hat für jederman etwas leckeres.Man sollte unbedingt im Voraus einen Tisch reservieren, da das Lokal sehr gut besucht ist. Kommen bestimmt wieder!

Die Karte ist seit Jahren sehr stabil geblieben. Nicht immer ein gutes Zeichen. Wenn aber die Qualität über Jahre hinweg auf hohem Niveau ebenfalls stabil bleibt, dann ist das sensationell. Die Grimms vom Frohsinn mit ihrem Team bringen immer wieder Topqualität auf den Teller. Beim letzten Besuch ein Top Cordon Bleu! Danke.
