The waiters spoke little Dutch,... read more I recently revisited Café de Parc today and was very disappointed. There were not enough staff and the organization was lacking. The waiters spoke little Dutch, which was a shame for a previously top-rated establishment. The menu was fine, and the food and drinks were good, but the prices were high. The overall setting needs immediate improvement.

I struggled to find a piece of shrimp in any of them. The homemade iced tea was also underwhelming. It tasted more like iced water. The only good thing about this place is the decor. Apparently writers Joseph Roth and Stefan Zweig used to hang out here during the heyday of Ostend. I guess most people come here for drinks only. Rooms: 3
