Glen Cove was just what we wanted when we ne... read more This is long overdue but my wife and I wanted to thank you and let you know we had a fantastic stay back in August. Glen Cove was just what we wanted when we needed to get away. Our stay was great, the food was amazing and we had a great time. The location was perfect for us. Although there were many dining options around, we ate more often in the hotel than anywhere else. The stuffed clams were unbelievable. I also wanted to tip my hat to the staff but especially Gail because she so welcoming and helpful. We plan on staying again. Please feel free to share this if you'd like. When I arrived at around 8:45pm, the restaurant... read more I recently visited this restaurant for dinner solely based on its location and excellent reviews on Google Maps. When I arrived at around 8:45pm, the restaurant was nearly empty, but the service I received made me feel like royalty. Our server, Molly, was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the menu offered a variety of options at reasonable prices. The clam chowder was outstanding, the shrimp in the cocktail were truly jumbo as advertised, and the fish and chips were crispy and fresh. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her fish tacos as well. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and highly recommend it to others.

Upon entering, the band abruptly stopped playing at 11:30 and by midnight, they were loudly telling everyone to finish their drinks and leave. This is definitely not a place to hang out late at night. It's better to head to the cape for a more enjoyable time. The service was disappointing, rating only 1 out of 5.

However, the bath products could use an upgrade. The dining room can be a bit loud, but the service is outstanding. Overall, I would give the rooms a perfect score of 5 out of 5.
