The food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted great. Definitely will return.

I r... read more I had dinner in the Bay Room on Saturday night and I've been there for brunch a few times as well. The stuffed quahogs, a Cape Cod specialty, are fantastic. I really loved the wedge salad with chicken, and my boyfriend is a big fan of the 1883 burger, especially with the delicious fig jam. However, I found the salmon salad to be just average; the Cajun seasoning on the salmon doesn’t quite complement the berries and pecans in the dish. On weekends, there's live music in the 1883 Lounge downstairs, and we stopped by for a bit—it was lively and fun. I'll definitely be back!

However, I did encounter two issues: the old window air conditioning units are quite noisy, making it less appealing during hot weather. The continental breakfast offered is just average and isn't available until 8 am. If you’re looking for early morning coffee, there's a diner down the street that opens at 7 am, as well as a Dunkin' Donuts a short drive away. I would absolutely consider coming back during the off-season when air conditioning isn't necessary.

The warm welcome I received was exceptional, and the hotel room itself was relaxing and well-equipped. There’s a small but effective space heater tucked away in the closet to keep you warm and a wonderfully comfortable bed, complete with extra blankets and plenty of soft pillows. I’m thoroughly impressed by this beautifully restored boutique hotel. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. After spending 30 years as a flight attendant for a major airline and traveling all over the world, I can confidently say that the Glen Cove Hotel is highly inviting, and I highly recommend it.

U... read more We decided to spend the night at this delightful hotel on February 16th. With a lovely view of Onset Beach, the prices are quite reasonable in the off-season. Upon arrival, we chose to relax at the bar with some drinks and appetizers as a late afternoon indulgence. The bartender was incredibly friendly and recommended the wings, which were amazing. Their homemade fries are also one of my personal favorites. On weekends, they host live entertainment, and that evening, a band called Timeline performed. For dinner, I must say, I think I enjoyed the best prime rib I've ever had. With great music, delicious food, and a bartender who makes an excellent martini, what more could anyone ask for? I truly loved the charming atmosphere of this historic hotel, and I will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful beach just across the street.
