Absolutely the best food in town! The dishes are creative and innovative, crafted by a chef whose name I don’t yet know. Having lived in Oneonta for 35 years, I can confidently say that we’ve never had a restaurant of this quality here. My husband and I randomly stopped in for dinner on a very long road trip up to my husband’s hometown. We enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. We loved everything we ordered: Primtivo, NY IPA. The foccia. Salad and mushroom starter and we shared the fennel sausage pizza and bolognese (taking some home. Everything was great! While we didn’t have dessert, the menu looked delicious as well.
We have been to Dazzous a few times and the food is always phenomenal. The service is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly that works there. The last few times we have had Ariel and she knocks it out of the park every time, super friendly, very attentive and engaging. A fabulous server. The owner always comes out after every meal and talks to us and always asks us about our meals and remembers us when we come in. Hands down a spectacular restaurant.

This is the highest quality restaurant in operation in the Oneonta area.
Tonight we had a reservation for 7:30, and when we came in, we found out that our table had accidentally been given to another party by mistake. We made the decision to wait at the bar for another table. The bartender was amazing from the moment we sat down and took great care of us. Within just a few minutes, we were seated at a new table. They were incredibly busy, and every table was full in the entire restaurant, so we were very pleased that we were seated so quickly. The service thereafter was absolutely amazing all of the staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The food is out of this world and so consistently delicious every time we were there. Everything from the service to the food is so outstanding that we could care less that there was ever a mix up to begin with. You could not leave this place disappointed. Highly recommend we drive from out of town occasionally just to eat here.
