Chicken was overcooked and dry. Some breading was almost black. Potatoes and gravy were good and veggies very good.

If you get the opportunity, you've g... read more It is hard to believe that such a delicious, diverse menu like this can exist and strive in a cowboy town like O'Neill, NE! If you get the opportunity, you've got to try this restaurant. The waitstaff should be equally praised with a dining room full of guests, she did not leave us waiting at all. I am often hard pressed to find that kind of service in big city Omaha.

The cheese on the sandwich is a nice touch, but the chips and au jus really push the salt content of the meal. I'd recommend asking for an alternate side dish. Otherwise, great decor, great service. Give the deviled eggs a try they are delicious!

We stopped at Holt County Grill for dinner, because of the good reviews that I had read. They were true! We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak it was bigenough to split. It was Delicious! We had a Fabulous waitress Brenda N she was a connoisseur on their beer selections. Shehelped us pick out some pretty tasty beers. This is a Great family restaurant, and Brenda just made our visit brighter!
