Late afternoon, driving toward Peterborough, looking for a place to eat, and decide to return to this place to try it again after a couple years. Things started out well with the glass of water I was brought. It was so nice and cold on a hot day and I don't know if this is filtered water or Omemee tap water, but its great water. Once again we had a delicious meal with friendly small town service. If you driving on Hwy 7 between Peterborough and Lindsay need some food give this place a try.
Excellent chinese food all prepared from scratch. Maybe a little slow so make sure you have plenty of time. Good breakfast but does not open too early.
We each had the combo plate of Soo guy with fried. Really good. The Canadian food looked really good that people around us had. We are going back and it's not in our area. Not fancy though. The day we were there it was an older man and woman (as are we). It's not fancy but good.
We order from this place all the time, the food is good, and quantity is large. Lots of people must feel the same, as the parking lot is always full.
Great little spot to lunch when travelling through on Hwy 7. Convienant and food and service is great. Home cook type food.
