My visit to Yoshitomo truly surpassed my expectations. Although I’ve always been a dedicated fan of Blue Sushi Sake Grill, I had heard wonderful things about Yoshitomo from friends and colleagues. During a recent trip to Benson, I spotted the Yoshitomo sign and decided it was time to give it a try. I was seated at the bar, which offered me a front-row view of the sushi chefs at work. Their meticulous attention to detail with each roll was impressive and made the experience more than worthwhile. I began with the Aburi Wagyu, which was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. For my main course, I enjoyed the Simba, Rangoon, and Kobayashi Maru rolls, all of which were fantastic and featured sauce and flavor combinations I had never encountered before. Overall, my dining experience at Yoshitomo was exceptional, and I can’t wait to return. The high-quality sushi at Yoshitomo exceeded all my expectations and was a delightful treat. Hats off to the team at Yoshitomo for providing such excellent food!
This restaurant is an excellent spot for sushi enthusiasts! We made a reservation and were seated at the counter, allowing us to watch the chefs skillfully prepare all the mouthwatering dishes. The talented culinary team puts tremendous effort into both the creation and presentation of each plate. There is a wide range of sushi options available to choose from. We highly recommend trying the 'bites,' as they feature delightful flavor combinations. Everything we ordered was truly delicious.
This restaurant is amazing! The service was outstanding, and our server was very knowledgeable, offering excellent menu recommendations. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I will definitely be coming back in the future!
I had a wonderful father-daughter date night at this restaurant. We were fortunate that the hostess found us seats at the sushi bar despite not having a reservation. My daughter really enjoyed watching the sushi being prepared, although she felt the food was a bit too upscale for her taste. We tried a variety of dishes, but I didn’t take notes on what we ordered. At first, my daughter liked some of the items, but she eventually found them too spicy. The one dish that wasn’t spicy was considered too sweet for her. Personally, I thought everything was fresh, quickly made, and beautifully presented. The fish was flavorful, and I enjoyed every bite. I’ll definitely have to return on my own since my wife isn’t a sushi fan.
I never expected to find such incredible sushi in the heart of the US, so far from the ocean. It was my first visit to my boyfriend's home state, and we were joined by his best friend, who highly recommended this restaurant. After this experience, I will definitely trust his suggestions in the future. Our server, Amber, helped us explore the best dishes on the menu by sharing her favorites. The guys ordered the Moriwase Nigiri, Kobayashi Maru, Go-san, and several other dishes, while I chose the vegan sundried maki, which I absolutely loved, and the ume shiso, which didn't quite suit my taste but might be appealing to others. The chef deserves praise for their talent in crafting such delicious food, and Amber truly enhanced our dining experience.
