What Francesca Lynch doesn't like about Flatiron Cafe:
Service So-So. Expectations were high. First impressions not good. Very busy and noisy too small of a place to accommodate private parties. They had set up a two part screen that did little to deflect the noise. It's almost all glass windows and high ceilings, so there is nothing to deflect the sound. Once you step into the restaurant, there is no vestibule. The bar is on the right and a dining table (with diners) on... View all feedback. What Joe likes about Flatiron Cafe:
Absolutely amazing food and outstanding customer service. Easily one of the top restaurants in a restaurant town. Chef's are to be commended for the quality presentation of every dish on our table of 6. Wait staff supports each other and it feels like they operate as a team. It is a pleasure to dine here. read moreThe restaurant offers a mixed experience with service ranging from disappointing to exceptional. The atmosphere is busy and noisy with a dated yet understated ambience. Food quality varies, with some dishes such as the seared salmon receiving praise, while others like overcooked lobster and bland Caesar salads fall short. However, exceptional dishes like the duck receive high praise. The restaurant is known for its outstanding customer service and professional staff who provide recommendations and attend to guests attentively. The restaurant also offers a romantic and intimate setting, making it perfect for special occasions like Valentine's Day. Despite some inconsistencies, the restaurant's overall quality puts it in the top tier of dining establishments in Omaha.
