We were in Omaha for the College World Series and some friends from there suggested 801 Chophouse for a nice dinner one night. Our trip was for my son's high school graduation. I asked what their specialty was and our server immediately replied the prime rib. Prime rib is one of my favorites, so I'm in, and was joined by my wife and son. It was excellent, one of the best I've ever had. Cesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes also awesome, but my son loved the mac
Great overall experience. The prices are pretty steep and beware when you're choosing the toppings for your steak. My husband had an issue with the suggestion from the waiter and ended up with an extra charge not realizing. $25 corkage fee for bringing your own bottles.
We had the 12 ounce filet and the 16 ounce ribeye in which they were both excellent. I had the garlic mashed potatoes, a little too much garlic and my husband had the grilled asparagus that he enjoyed very much. The carrot cake was amazing and without raisins which made it even better! The staff was outstanding! A very enjoyable evening. Thank you to everyone at 801 Chophouse!
Service was good and the food was tasty. We came in on a Monday evening and we were seated quickly. Several of us had the wagyu and it was delicious. I normally have my beef cooked med rare however I was told with wagyu it would be better more well so Igot it cooked to med. It came with a certificate btw. For dessert the carrot was the hit and recommend.
Amazing food and awesome experience. The restaurant is very nice with a great seating setup. Complementary valet parking is a huge plus. The food was very good. Steak was very tender and seasoned perfectly. The mash potatoes are the best I've ever had. They add parmesan or garlic butter on top (not sure exactly) but it takes it to another level. The service was specular.
