Was Chris at 801 Chophouse a mag?
It was a tad on the noisy side, and it could have been a few degrees cooler, but the steaks and sides were amazing. Service was good. Cocktails were great. Will definitely dine again. View all feedback.
What SeanC dislikes about 801 Chophouse:
The streak was tough. Stringy. Not worth $67. I love a good streak with a quality cut and don’t mind paying for it. This was not it. Service was great good people. All steaks where left on the grill two long and the middle was even warm. View all feedback.
As i remembered the stark was perfect, cooked to perfection. Best ever . The sides orders are average : the garlic spinach has enough garlic to kill 100 vampires, the baked potato was dry even with the butter and sour cream, the steak fries were soft. The mashed potatoes are the best .
First time dining here. Was amazing. Wonderful food, ambience and service. Thank your for accommodating us needing gluten free options.
Had great service. Food was great. Highly reommend.
Amazing food and awesome experience. The restaurant is very nice with a great seating setup. Complementary valet parking is a huge plus. The food was very good. Steak was very tender and seasoned perfectly. The mash potatoes are the best I've ever had. They add parmesan or garlic butter on top (not sure exactly) but it takes it to another level. The service was specular.
We were in Omaha for the College World Series and some friends from there suggested 801 Chophouse for a nice dinner one night. Our trip was for my son's high school graduation. I asked what their specialty was and our server immediately replied the primerib. Prime rib is one of my favorites, so I'm in, and was joined by my wife and son. It was excellent, one of the best I'veever had. Cesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes also awesome, but my son loved the mac cheese (said it was the best he everhad). Took the leftovers back to the hotel for the next night! It's a hike from the stadium, but a nice stroll.
