What Brenda Deckman doesn't like about Alpine Inn:
This felt like a regulars kind of place, but had to try this quirky place out. I love fried chicken and it looked great, but I did not care for the breading or greasiness of the chicken. The colesaw and macaroni salad were not good to either of us. But you can watch the raccoons if you are willing to stay until it has been dark for an hour or so. View all feedback. The chicken here is consistently excellent—always fresh and flavorful. It's no surprise that the dining area is often packed; there's a good reason for that. While you might have to wait a bit for your order, it's definitely worth it. The chicken is cooked to perfection: neither overcooked and dry nor undercooked and unsafe.
