I will start with the good: Chicken was fresh, raccoons were extremely adorable, prices are reasonable, and the service was ok. The so so part: the fried chicken was just ok, I have had MUCH better elsewhere, food to table took WAY too long. Fried shrimp were all breading and about a thumbnail size shrimp. Place needs a remodel badly.
The fried chicken is like no other! The servers were great! Be back for more raccoon views chicken soon.
I began visiting this place in the '70s, and the chicken still tastes great. Occasionally, it might be a bit overcooked, but overall it's delicious. I enjoy bringing newcomers here to see the raccoons and cats; dinner time is the best for spotting the animals.
Dingy and dated, this place is the true definition of a hole in the wall. But we had great service and the fried chicken was the best I have ever had!
