Love the chicken teriyaki bento and ebi tempura. Must try!
Food was good. I tried Tenya a couple of years back when they first opened at BGC stopover but didn’t have a good experience then. The tempura I had before was soggy. This time around, I had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were polite and attentive as well so that’s another plus. I’ll come back to try their other menu items.
Ordered the All Star tendon and a basket of Asakusa special. Nothing really special. The prawns are good but tastes like nothing without the sauce. The squid is also tasteless, you won't even recognize it's squid. The beans still have the strings on the side. Good thing i no longer have my braces, otherwise, I have lost 2 or 3 brackets. I was expecting premium service given that they charge 395/425 for a bowl and since they claim to be Japan's #1 tempura. But they won't even remove the strings on the beans and they don't even serve water; you have to buy the drinks that are twice the price compared to 711. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Love the spicy salmon and really love the food presentation
I was served spoiled food. The smell was obviously bad but the staff insisted that the food was okay to eat. They couldn't give a refund because the manager was not there. They made us come back later in the afternoon to get the refund. When we came back, they still did not want to refund and tried to give us the same food.
