Papa John's Megamall - Omaha

Continuing my reviews backlog... #latepost Months ago I was invited to a double rendezvoos (a play on the word rendezvous) hosted by another search-and-discovery app Looloo. First we trooped to Papa John 's Pizza (and then we went to Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake, which I also did a review here). It was my first time at Papa John 's Pizza and certainly, I was quite excited to try their every offering. Appetizers/Sides:

I enjoyed the dishes we had here in Papa John's and I think their Pizza was good. I just find the dough too flaky. The Carbonara and Pesto was a bit bland for my taste but it was still good. The Potato Wedges was cooked well and this I enjoyed a lot. It tasted good and crisp. Service here was slow. The Milk Shake I had took about 20 minutes to serve.

Herbed Parmesan Bread Sticks for 120Php My favorite of all that night! It wasn't really about the bread, though they were warm and soft, but the butter that the bread sticks were drenched with. Melted butter with garlic and herbs, man it was so delicious! I can imagine smothering that cholesterol loaded stuff into anything at all and it will make anything delicious!

We decided to eat here since we've been craving for papa johns pepperoni pizza. We were greeted by the staff and pointed to where we will be seated. it was so hard to get somebody's attention for us to place our order the lady who initially greeted us took our order but is not paying attention. She keeps on looking somewhere and seems watching somebody else or could have been asked by another customer on another table.. not sure but the point is... she's not paying attention We ordered for 2 kinds of pasta, chicken wings, a 12 inches pepperoni pizza, 2 single served coke our orders came one by one.. and has been consumed before the other order arrive okay.. so we finished our pasta. Then they served us the chicken wings.... when we were done with the chicken wings, we have to call them to follow up our pizza and here's the most hilarious thing... when the pizza was served... it's already cold... it's like you dreamed of their pizza for a couple of days and imagined the gooeyness of the cheese when you get your slice?? Oh... it did not happen. No IT DIDN'T.

Taste of food could have been better. Staff could have been more attentive when attention is called upon by customers. Place is huge, ideal for those who want to treat their teams out to lunch or their barkada.
