Sainte Emilienne - Olonne-sur-Mer

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The ambience is great, with the boars' and deers' heads and on the walls, and the drawings of the hunter being chased by the wolf all very amusing. The food is delicious the Potence has to be tried it's yummy.

How could i start this? It was the first time i visited this place in the area, the people warm and welcoming! i felt like i was at home, they greeted us and served us a little get to go drink with snacks, followed by ordering our meal... Now not only was the meal brought out in perfect timing it was one of the best in the area! home made, traditional French Vendee food! I personally had the rack of meat on spike (40 euro) for 2 people which was amazing! My girlfriend had a fish dish and even though she was vegetarian she loved the place for its home cooked meals and feeling out in the forest! This has to be in my top 5 places to eat in this area... I live here yet this place just felt friendly, clean, professional and fantastic food! As a critic I will be recommending this place to all my clients, friends and family and will definitely be going back! 8/10 place! There were 9 of us we had full meals and 3 bottles of wine along with some other drinks for just 29 euro each!

We enjoyed the cuisine of this restaurant located in the olonne forest, eels and frog thighs are delicious, the dishes are rich and well cooked, the tables on the covered terrace are pleasant and the staff also. good desserts close the meal. Good atmosphere.

Great restaurant! Tres bon rapport qualité prix et je vous recommande la potence et les profiteroles !! You can go the eyes closed on the other hand think about booking the weekend!!!
