During my summer stay in Ollantaytambo, I believe one of the best restaurants - if not the best - was Inka's Tower. Apart from having exquisite appetizers (their tequeños are the best in town) and food, it is run by this extremely friendly family and the views are breathtaking. It is easily the highest point in town, and the top floor is just windows all around, where you can see the ruins, the plaza, and the rest of... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Inka's Tower Cafe Restobar:
Went to inca's tower for breakfast. Waiter was a little boy. We asked for juice without water, since its a mess for the stomach. He confirmed and brought juice with water. Plate was ridiculously small, one small old bread, coffee came after breakfast. Ollantaytambo is a touristy place with (for Peru) high prices, i don't get the point why serve small and bad quality for high price. Positive is the nice view around to... View all feedback.
Amazing view, cheap drinks, delicious cocktails, excellent service and friendly staff. Inkas Tower is a must if you are in Ollantaytambo.
In the tower of Advance Inca we had piscosauer and we liked both the drinks and the general mood of the place. Very recommended
We entered with slight betrayal as there were no other diners (we travel during the pandemic and there are not really any diners everywhere! However, we were warmly welcomed and had a great meal of some of the Peruvian soups. After dinner, Javier, the owner, treated us to a taster of his homemade pisco liqueurs on the house that were great!
This small bar on which we stumbled had great views of Ollantaytambo ruins and great drinks! We had both Pisco Sauer (about 4 USD per) and they were some of the best we had throughout our time in Peru.
We went up there after hiking ruins. It had a great view! I’d recommend you should stop by to enjoy the view with drink. Food wise, nothing better or nothing worse. Once the server goes down stairs, it is all quiet and you don’t see...him for a while. Time to admire the surrounding scenery.
