Th... read more It's tough for me to write this, but I feel it needs to be addressed. During my last two visits (on March 14 and March 28), the food was simply unacceptable. The house salad was made entirely of brown lettuce, and the ham and Swiss sandwich was far from average, featuring what seemed to be prepackaged deli ham. The walleye sandwich came on an over-toasted, extremely dry roll, and the walleye itself was flavorless. My friend ordered the chicken wings and described them as terrible. I'm not one to complain, but after years of knowing I could rely on good food here, I'm deeply disappointed. I honestly can't recall ever having such bad food—twice, no less.

The owners were very friendly, and I genuinely enjoyed my time there. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves amazing food, so I didn't feel the need to go anywhere else to eat. It's a fantastic place!
