Gandico - Oliveira Do Hospital

I stopped here for a group lunch whilst on a motorcycle tour. There were at least 30 of us in the group, which can create a challenge for some restaurants. Gandico handled the group with ease, serving a set menu. Service was efficient and the food was tasty. I'd happily return to try items from the regular menu. There is ample parking outside, that easily took the 20 motorcycles in our group.

Restaurant is located in a beautiful area with lovely views, waitress very friendly woman. Only thing I would fault is the bolognaise tastes like pork meat and not cow meat.

Had a great time on this restaurant. Very tricky to reach because we had to go down the mountains. Surprisingly it was almost empty on a Saturday!

We have chosen this restaurant based on the opinion in TripAdvisor, as it supposed to be the best restaurant in this area. Wrong! I ordered a steak and my son some veal and both were not so good. The meat was hard. My wife took a cod an it was OK. The service was friendly, however they do not speak English.
