What User doesn't like about The Honey Baked Ham Company:
I gave a lunch to arrive at 11:00. The shop confirmed the order. At 12 o'clock, no food and it took up to 1 o'clock to get in touch with the store because they did not answer their phone for an hour. I was told the driver ran into heavy traffic, but the food was delivered JUST... no food. Lunch is over now and I have hungry and angry customers. Normally, it's super packed around the holidays, and the line is out the door, but fortunately I walked straight into the store a couple of days early around Christmas. Staff is super friendly if that's saying much since they don't interact with the customers for a long time. They're busy trying to get ppl in and out. Love how they allow you to choose exactly what you want.
Delicious food and excellent service—a rare combination these days in America. It's not just about ham on Easter here; they offer fantastic, fresh sandwiches as well. The Tavern Club is spacious enough to accommodate a large group easily.
The ladies in the evening shift are fantastic! They assist with warm smiles and are always eager to help. Thank you, ladies, and keep up the excellent work!
I placed a lunch order for 11:00 AM, and the restaurant confirmed it. By 12:00 PM, the food still hadn’t arrived, and it took me until 1:00 PM to get in touch with the store, as they didn’t answer their phone for an hour. When I finally reached them, they claimed the driver was stuck in heavy traffic, but in reality, the food was never delivered. My customers were hungry and frustrated, and I felt embarrassed for promising them a meal that never came. I would have understood if there had been a legitimate reason for the delay, like labor shortages or supply chain issues, but saying the food was on its way was simply a lie. I had to leave my customers hungry at 1:10 PM, even though their lunch was supposed to be served at 11:00 AM. They finally ate around 2:30 PM. This experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional, and I lost business because of it.
I placed a great order and Jackie took the time to understand and get the order right. The food was delicious and the service was even better. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.
