The setting is lovely but the food was so disappointing. We were the only people in the restaurant I ordered the Angus burger and was served it within five minutes totally raw and cold, I requested it was cooked more but still the same and cold. What a shame.
We were house hunting. The lawyer's office recommended this restaurant as a nice place for a light lunch. It's located on the main promenade which is just lovely with the shade trees and park area. We ate in the outside patio area. We got great service as soon as we took a seat. We both ordered a chicken salad with a cheesy topping (wish i could remember the name of the dish). We thoroughly enjoyed it. We spent some time here as we needed to make several calls to take care of business. it was very pleasant and relaxing as we drank coffee or agua con gas after we finished our meal. The waiter continued to watch us whenever we needed something. One thing that happens here is that people approach you with bags of some kind of cheap merchandise, like sunglasses or socks, and try to sell to you. We had a young man come by twice to try to sell different things. When the lady, who seemed to be the owner, saw him he got the evil eye and moved away. Otherwise it was quiet and peaceful.
We had the menu of the day. Absolutely delicious. Very attentive service, all the dishes were explained in great detail. Restaurant is spotlessly clean. Relaxed atmosphere.
