The location is very convenient for trail riding and the owners are very happy for you to store your bikes in their secure garage. The hotel is clean and comfortable, however the air con in room 9 does not work (I am told it didn’t last year either which is a bit disappointing). The staff are excellent and the food and drinks are good. We have eaten all our meals out on the terrace looking over the mountains. There is also a great outdoor pool which is still very warm in early Sept. I will most likely return here with my wife if we come touring in the area which is stunning.6

The service by the chef good but the food a desa... read more We have stayed one night in the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant but it was not at all a nice experience. The service by the chef good but the food a desaster. We have tried the goat stew (very fat and difficult to chew), the cooked pork feets (only fat and bones, really nothing to bite) and the grilled rabbit (a bit to less done and hard to get from the many bones). Everything comes without side dish and whatever you will ask is charged at a high separate price. Wine form the house (10,50€ bottle) was the best experience. So this was an experience I would love to not have to make.

Good menu choices not sure of value for money. Thin chicken noodle soup served from a Terrine was ok. Rabbit stew was good , fries with steak were a little greasy and limp, desserts were OK . Happy enough with the food after a long day of travel from Costa tropical. Wine appears to come by the bottle rather than a glass which was asked for . Barcelona beers Moritz available at the bar.

The dinner o... read more This hotel deserves all the 4 stars. Don’t believe the sign. It is situated in the middle of nowhere, the rooms overlooking the back are very calm. The dinner on the terrace overlooking the mountains was everything you wish for. The risotto was delicious and the wine recommended by the waiter was excellent. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We greatly enjoyed our short stay and would recommend this hotel with all our heart. The photoes don’t do any justice to the real situation

Everything was perfectly lovely.... read more The location, about a half mile from a scruffy town, on a busy highway, is not where you would expect a hotel of this quality. Everything was perfectly lovely. A great deal of attention was put into the details. The staff is professional and most accommodating. I really enjoyed staying here.
