We have visited this restaurant for lunch previously when visiting Olhao and it is a really excellent family run restaurant serving delicious traditional Portuguese food. They will also cater to British and American tastes as well as other dietary requirements. The serving staff and owners are very obliging. We had the soup, dish of the day for lunch, which was bass, served with vegetables, salad and fries. We had 0.5ltr of house wine and only paid 27 euro. Wonderful!

We found this great place while wondering around in the town while on holiday. A great menu, my kids loved the pizza hot dogs. Our waiter was a lovely guy and very helpful. What actually attracted us was the great big menu in the window. Very reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere. Be sure to try it if you are in the area. A big HI to all the staff from us in Scotland, and Thank you

We stopped here for lunch, as the restaurant we normally eat at in Olhao was closed for renovations. This restaurant is located in the main street of the town and I was sceptical about the quality of food on offer in relation to the price, as is often the case in a downtown location? This restaurant is a family owned and run and the proprietor was on hand to welcome customers. Pleasingly the restaurant appeared to be popular with locals as the proprietor seemed to know most of the diners and even on a Monday, the restaurant was more than three quarters full. The surroundings and decor is quaint and has a rustic charm, which you will either like or not, depending upon your taste. It is not up market. We opted for one of the specials, which was 2 tuna steaks, served with fries, onions and mushrooms. We had 2 mixed salads and a jug of wine all for 21 euro. The portions were a good size and the fish which was fresh was well cooked and presented. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the owner had a smattering of English. I noticed that this restaurant hosted 'Fado ' nights, which must be a blast. I would recoomend this restaurant for good value casual dining!
