Despite some mixed reviews, Diggle Hotel offers a welcoming environment with good hospitality. The hotel staff accommodates guests, even extending kitchen hours upon request. The food is well-made with reasonable prices, making the experience enjoyable. The cleanliness and friendliness of the establishment set it apart, creating a cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the nearby location of a b&b makes it an ideal spot for weary travelers. With delicious food, comfortable accommodations, and friendly hosts, Diggle Hotel is a great choice for those looking for a pleasant stay and meal in a peaceful setting.

Me and my friend were booked in for one night at the Diggle Hotel, the hospitality we received was outstanding. We were meant with kindness and generosity. We had dinner during our stay that was homemade and delicious. We also had sandwiches made for us for our hike the next day with some added sausage rolls, it was exactly what we needed. Could not recommend this hotel/pub enough!!

We were made to feel very welcome here after a hard day of walking in boiling hot sunshine. Had contacted to say we were en route and would they still be serving food. They said they would keep the kitchen open for us. Even when we arrived much mater than anticipated, we were still offered a reduced choice of food which was very well received. As was the excellent Tiger Ruts beer which we followed our meal with! Friendly landlord/landlady and locals. And only 150 yards to our b&b too. All in all was a great end to a great day. Thanks.

We stayed here after a really long day on the Pennine Way. Susan gave us a warm welcome at the bar and made sure we were fed and watered despite us arriving really late and the food was amazing!! Super tasty main courses of salmon and scampi with fresh produce was way beyond expectations this late at night. Thanks so much for making our stay such a memorable one!

We called in after a walk around the area on a Sunday Lunchtime. The pub has a lovely open fire, lots of original features, it was very clean and the food was well presented, hearty and filling. The staff were friendly and service was great.
