I used to have the habit of going to Tesco early at around 6pm to do my shopping before it got crowded. However, since Tesco started opening their normal checkouts at 8am instead of earlier, I have had to adjust my shopping routine. This change has been slightly annoying and inconvenient for me. This morning, I expected at least one of the checkouts to be open by 7am as usual, but I was told that none would be open until 8am. I was disappointed that Tesco would not even serve me, so I decided to leave my shopping and go to Asda instead. At Asda, I was able to do my shopping without any issues and at the same price. In fact, the service was much better than at Tesco.
I had a light breakfast and some drinks before going to a meeting. The drinks were good, but the food was just average. I would have liked it better if it was prepared fresh instead of just reheated. Tesco management, please take note of this. The cafe staff were excellent, even bringing the food to my table.
I went to this restaurant for breakfast with my daughter this morning. The sausages were tough like leather and the rest of the meal was just as terrible. I would have complained, but the staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves. It was a total rip off! Giving this place one star is too generous.
The atmosphere at Tesco cafe is delightful. I enjoyed a cup of tea, chatted with friends, and read their complimentary magazine. It was lovely to relax and watch people passing by. The food looked tempting, although I didn't have a chance to try it as they were closing soon. I imagine it would be a great spot for a morning breakfast.
