How wrong can you be, turned out to be a... read more Booked Grains Bar for a Saturday night event back in Oldham and to be honest wasn’t expecting much based on the price. How wrong can you be, turned out to be a little gem from the minute we arrived. All the staff we encountered were so pleasant and engaging, views from the grounds over the rolling hills were stunning. The light buffet breakfast, included in the price, was a good selection of cereals, juice, tea coffee (instant or cafétiere) and toast preserves and the optional cooked breakfast menu was under a tenner! Our room (5) was extremely comfortable, bright and clean and the en suite, if a little small was perfectly clean and more than adequate. Locale although unexplored appeared to be a very pleasant area. Wish we had been staying longer!

Great service... read more Excellent location and a really nice place and environment to have a meet up with friends. Menu was just right enough choice and reasonable cost. Great service as not rushed and staff friendly. Very happy to go again anytime and we all will. No hesitation in recommending this fine restaurant.
